Thank you to all that came out to the Pop Up Flea in NYC. It was an amazing event to be a part of. We love this short film that Faribault Mills took of their time at the Pop Up Flea. There’s a little glimpse of Stu selling our goods.
We go on a lot of antiquing trips mostly around the east coast. Sometimes we take photos of things we see along the way and thought it would be fun to share some photos with you here each week.
This week it’s a creepy barn full of deer antlers, a citrus fruit stand where you can buy boxes of tangelos and a place called crazy ed’s candy outlet.
we just returned from a week at the beach.
our week consisted of: morning pastries from the corner store, sandy feet and bottoms, outside showers, fresh seafood, crabbing, a first bee-sting for holly (ouch), boardwalk fries with lots of vinegar, skee-ball and arcade games and ice cream every night. it was fun but stu and i are feeling more tired than refreshed – our two small monsters have worn us out.
stu and i are on the hunt for a bigger car. this looks like it could accomodate a family of four and a whole lotta antiques for our shop.
hmmm. wouldn’t we all like to own a yellow vw bus and just drive up the california coast. love these photos from a new book called the california surf project.
Last week our trip to the mountains led us to this wonderful modern prefab cabin in the woods called Lost River Modern. It was beautiful, the surroundings and especially the house. It was fun to pretend while we were there that this was our modern oasis. We highly recommend it if you are needing a little escape. See more photos of Lost River Modern and book your next trip here.
