Outstanding authentic original mid-late 19th century hand-carved patriotic Americana folk art stars and stripes wooden shield bearing 13 stars and diagonal stripes. The shield is made up of three panels and is all original with some minor chips and hairline cracks (where the panels meet), overall a very solid piece. Measures 23.5"w x 31.5"h x 1.25"d. Shield has wire hanger in back for easy wall mounting.
