We got over two feet of snow! They closed the public schools for the week already and the federal government is closed tomorrow. DC doesn’t do snow.

They’re predicting a lot of snow here in the DC area starting tomorrow night. Stocking up on milk and searching for our sled and snow suits. Maybe we’ll get enough to make an igloo and/or snowfort? We will see.

loadingdock3

the scout recently twittered about visiting a new restaurant called “the loading dock” at 170 tillary in brooklyn. 170 tillary was the building stu and i lived in while in brooklyn. the freight elevators were the same ones i used to haul groceries and little holly in.
so cool to see the loading dock transformed to this sweet space which we’ve heard serves some amazing tacos.
