This weekend we celebrated Otis’ first birthday. I’m feeling a little sad that he is so quickly growing up. I love babies and this sweet super8 video from john & amy & mae and their trip to maine makes me want another.

Hello there. Hope your weekend was a lovely one. This week we will be having a giveaway to our fans on facebook. This Friday (July 24th) we will randomly select two 3P4 Facebook fans to be the lucky winners of a $50 Three Potato Four gift card. Become a fan today!
Summertime by Anna Gustafson

we just returned from a week at the beach.
our week consisted of: morning pastries from the corner store, sandy feet and bottoms, outside showers, fresh seafood, crabbing, a first bee-sting for holly (ouch), boardwalk fries with lots of vinegar, skee-ball and arcade games and ice cream every night. it was fun but stu and i are feeling more tired than refreshed – our two small monsters have worn us out.

We love that we can rescue obscure antiques and random objects that may have been tucked away for many years and make them new and fresh again by bringing them into lovely homes like this.
This amazing home of Peggy Wong of design studio/stationery line, bluepoolroad was featured on designsponge this week. What a nice surprise to see the British Bus Route Sign that she purchased from us hung up in her home! See more beautiful images of her home here.

Stu and i both grew up listening to stories on records. I wasn’t allowed to watch too much tv and i remember laying on my bed listening to my favorite records over and over again. Stu’s favorite was “Peter and the Wolf” and mine was “The Ugly Duckling”.
Unfortunately we’re guilty of letting our daughter Holly watch a little too much tv and recently have tried to get her to listen to more records instead. We recently found a beautiful stash of records with beautiful books that accompany them. I’m hoping “Little Bird” will be Holly’s favorite.

otis is now walking! wobbly, but walking.
