our daughter, holly is turning four tomorrow! her birthday party is this weekend. we were banking on a sunny day so we could have it outside but sadly it looks like it may be rainy. i love planning her birthday parties and love that it gives me the opportunity to make things. i’ve been making things all week like these tissue paper pom poms. i’m excited to hang them all over our house. they were super easy to make. you can even make these using old sewing patterns, i followed this tutorial here.

i also cut out lily pads from construction paper and am sewing frogs for a frog toss game. we’re going to set these lily pads all around our living room floor and have the kids toss rice filled frogs on them.

hope it is a fun party even though it will be a rainy day inside.
