This time last year we were packing up our things and leaving the city for a different life. We were constantly moving from apartment to apartment almost every year we were in New York and it feels good to have a home now that we won’t grow out of so fast.
Holly now has her own little playroom and being able to decorate it is so much fun. These ceramic art tiles by designer Xenia Taler are simple and playful and add so much character to the room. The tiles come with a groove in the back for hanging as well as cork on the bottom with glazes able to withstand heat so you can use them as coasters and trivets too. They are all from the set called Storybook and you can purchase them here.

A sweet gift idea this holiday are these cafe mugs. A two piece set includes a mug and small dish which stacks neatly on top of the mug and is the perfect size to place your cookies or sweets. This one entitled “Song” has a simple line drawing of a bird in a birdcage and the french word “gazouillement” which means – sweet song.

We’re continuing to add new items to the shop all this week. Prints, decor, and tabletop items.
Late Nite

We decided to relax a bit today and enjoy our weekend. Our friends visited us from Brooklyn today and we spent the day with them and took a fun walk enjoying the nice weather we had, as well as fed some geese at a pond. So, now that means I am going to stay up late tonight to put up all the new things we have for the shop.
Here’s a peek at only a few of the things that will be added tonight and into tomorrow. The new section only lists the last ten that have been added so be sure browse around the shop for new prints, housewares both tabletop and decor. Enjoy!

We’ve been busy preparing for the holiday season. And I am almost through with my handmade ornaments for the ornament swap i joined. I had a couple test rounds that failed, but in the end they turned out fun. I will post the final products when I send them out to my swap-mates at the end of this week.
Some exciting news, we have been working with the amazingly talented illustrator Matt Cipov, on a new print series for the shop, this set features Field Studies of Pinecones and Acorns (and also a very sweet squirrel). They are an exclusive for Three Potato Four, and will be in the shop very soon.
Today I am setting up a new homepage image shot, and am gathering all my good gift wrap which will set as a background for some great gift ideas. I’m sure everyone is traveling near and far for thanksgiving, so be safe and have a happy thanksgiving!
A song for you.

Hello. Have you tried playing Wii yet? We went to our friends house the other day and Stu and I played boxing on their new Wii system. It was great (i won the match), and the next day my arms were sore, that’s sad I know. Holly loved it too she was a pretty good bowler, actually. Elvis (their dog) sure enjoyed watching her and eating her chips.
I don’t really like video games and am afraid if we have a system in the house, Stu might play it non-stop. Instead he is into playing his ukulele, which holly is starting to play now too. She has one her size and they sing songs together. It’s very sweet. She makes up songs to sing a long with it.
