Our next Barn Sale is right around the corner! April 30 + May 1st. We have been traveling and stocking up all month for this sale and the “Barn” is FULL!
This month we are thrilled to have local Philly bakers Coco Love Homemade join us at the Barn Sale. The Coco Love Outpost will be offering fresh delicious baked goods including their signature Whoopie and Mini Pies , all made from local ingredients from farms in nearby Lancaster County, PA. Coco Love’s chief baker Lindsey will be there. Stop by, say hello and be sure to pick some up for you and your friends. (They make yummy gifts.)
The other evening Stu brought our daughter Holly with him to the store. At the time we were were pricing and getting the shop ready for the last Barn Sale. Stu was sending out packages and tidying the shop, while Holly kept busy drawing. The next morning when we got to the shop we found all these notes and drawings she had made and left around the store. There were more than ten of them all around. My favorite was the POTATO sign.
Holly is turning six this May. She’s known Three Potato Four and our world of old things and antiques for most of her life. She is amazing. I hope she will always leave us secret little notes and drawings.
Lately each week we’ve been visiting a local farm near our home where we have been getting fresh eggs and flowers. The kids like to check out the chickens, rabbits and goats and also play around in the Corn Bin. Think sand box but with corn.
Sometimes we think we could live on a farm…but we’re afraid of the tremendous farm work more acreage brings. In our case the barn would probably house Three Potato Four and not goats or cows. Who knows maybe one day we’ll have our own Corn Bin.
We have been nominated for the Poppies as a ‘Favourite Vintage Shop’. We are very excited and honored! Would so love it if you could vote Three Potato Four as your favorite. Thank you!
max fischer was involved with some pretty awesome clubs and/or societies. we’re thinking we should have been more involved in school. bombardment society! from a favorite movie, rushmore.
